Stay hungry. Stay foolish.-Steve Jobs
Since childhood, I have been determined to fulfill my greatest potential in every aspect of my life. I have chosen journalism as my career. I will stop at nothing to achieve my goals and live my passion: investigative international broadcast journalism.
In my work life, I am first and foremost a storyteller. Stories are at the foundation of news that changes the world and impacts audiences. My work’s aim is to better the world that my generation has inherited by staying critical and opinionated but perceptive to those around me.
My work has appeared in Schema Magazine, Morning Quickie, the Ubyssey, Prince Arthur Herald, The Afro News, UBC ArtsWire, and Centre for Arts Student Services UBC. This website is my professional writing and photography portfolio and has been merged with the popular Miss Bolongaro blog, following my adventures as a wanderlust twentysomething. I also have a creative writing page, exhibiting my poetry and short stories.
I am also a freelance writer, photographer and traveller. I love the challenge of capturing a single moment in a lens and combining both visual and written mediums in my projects.
One of my greatest accomplishments so far is to be a part of the Eramus Mundus Masters of Journalism Program in Denmark and Germany. My specialization is Journalism and Media Across Cultures.
If you are interested in working with me on a project (in English, French, Italian or Spanish), or would like to use photos or posts from this website, please contact me directly at kaitbolongaro@gmail.com
This is just a small glimpse of me….happy reading! |
